Lavender Honey Colloidal Silver with Shea Butter Handmade Soap.
By SIM Family request!
If you have sensitive skin, dry skin, or wash your hands frequently, then we highly recommend trying our Colloidal Silver soap. It has a powerful yet nontoxic antibacterial, anti-fungal, and antiseptic properties. Made with colloidal silver that's 99.9% pure in a base of skin-soothing shea butter, coconut, and olive oils, so it moisturizes while it deeply cleans. Use daily to aid in healing chronic skin conditions, such as fungus, eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis. It's also a great choice for those with compromised immune systems or for those who are frequent hand washers. *
This soap is infused with Calendula and Chamomile. Calendula comes with extraordinary skin conditioning properties, to keep your delicate skin even and beautiful. Chamomile flower is known to soothe skin in a very gentle manner. It is suited for all skin types. Both Calendula and Chamomile go hand-in-hand to give your skin a kiss of nourishment.
I also added buttermilk and honey. Buttermilks lactic acid rejuvenates the complexion for glowing skin, while honey's humectant properties help absorb and retain moisture to prevent wrinkles and fine lines.
High concentrations of fatty acids and vitamins make shea butter an ideal soap ingredient for softening skin. Shea butter also has anti-inflammatory and healing properties. Using shea butter on your body, especially your face, can condition, tone, and soothe your skin.*
Scent: A beautiful fragrant bouquet of lavender from the French country side! It is a floral, herbaceous, fresh scent with a balsamic woody undertone.
It isn't lavender color for a good reason. In this case, honey darkens the soap while curing. A mass production soap company would use stabilizers to lighten it, but for this bar I refuse to sacrifice health for aesthetics.
Look and feel: All soaps are made by hand in small batches with natural ingredients, and like any product made by hand, has color differences and small imperfections. Unlike commercially produced products, color stabilizers are not used in my soaps, resulting in bars that will darken as they age. This is normal for real soap, and won't affect its performance.
Extra time isn't spent finishing the edges, shaving off imperfections, etc. This allows me more time to make more soap, as well as a lower price point to my customer. Due to their naturally high moisture content, handcrafted soaps may be softer than the average commercial bar. To prolong the life of your soap I recommend storing it on an open tray with good air circulation and drainage
Inside: I only use what’s needed to produce a soap or skin care item. Ingredients without a distinct purpose and/or benefit are left out. Most items are scented with only essential oils. Because not all scents can be recreated with essential oils only, some products will contain a fragrance oil. All my fragrance oils are phthalate-free. Items will be identified with what scent or essential oil was added in the ingredient listing. For the oils and butters, organic and fair trade are chosen whenever those options are available.
Packaging: Sourced from recyclable materials whenever possible, the packaging is minimal and functional, to keep the soaps dry during shipping, as well as keep the scents from blending.
Ingredients: Shea butter, colloidal silver solution, coconut oil, olive oil, sodium hydroxide, lavender essential oil, buttermilk, honey, calendula and chamomile
