Dead Sea Mud
Dead Sea Mud with Activated Charcoal and Manuka Honey - All Natural Handmade Soap.
If you're looking for a good facial bar, this is perfect. It can also be used as a general body bar, especially for those sensitive skinned folks or anyone suffering from skin ailments.
Manuka Honey is considered an "active" honey. All honey has hydrogen peroxide in it, which is created by enzymes that bees manufacture along with the sugars to turn into honey; all honey also contains methylglyoxyl, a bactericidal compound, but in very low concentrations. The magic of Manuka Honey is that the bees pass on the additional antifungal and antibiotic properties of the Tea Tree into their already nice 'n' antibacterial honey, creating more active hydrogen peroxide and methylglyoxyl. This makes Manuka Honey the subject of much study as a wound dressing and acne "miracle" cure.
A very luxurious bar with added Bamboo Silk. The addition of bamboo silk gives the soap a more shiny appearance, slightly increased lather, be more slippery, and have a general luxurious "silky" feeling. You will definitely notice the unique qualities of Bamboo Silk.
I also substituted Aloe Vera juice for the usual distilled water. Aloe Vera truly is a miracle plant. This herbal remedy is soothing to all skin types.
Orange essential oil has a rich, fruity scent that lifts the spirit while providing a calming influence on the body. Orange brings peace and happiness to the soul. Tea Tree essential oil has a slight medicinal scent, but when combined with orange, it's very bright and uplifting. (It should be noted that Tea Tree oil should not be used on babies younger than 6 months.)
Made with Shea Butter. This soap base gives off a creamy lather while promoting moisture and softening.
Look and feel: All soaps are made by hand in small batches with natural ingredients, and like any product made by hand, has color differences and small imperfections. Unlike commercially produced products, color stabilizers are not used in my soaps, resulting in bars that will darken as they age. This is normal for real soap, and won't affect its performance.
Extra time isn't spent finishing the edges, shaving off imperfections, etc. This allows me more time to make more soap, as well as a lower price point to my customer. Due to their naturally high moisture content, handcrafted soaps may be softer than the average commercial bar. To prolong the life of your soap I recommend storing it on an open tray with good air circulation and drainage
Inside: I only use what’s needed to produce a soap or skin care item. Ingredients without a distinct purpose and/or benefit are left out. Most items are scented with only essential oils. Because not all scents can be recreated with essential oils only, some products will contain a fragrance oil. All my fragrance oils are phthalate-free. Items will be identified with what scent or essential oil was added in the ingredient listing. For the oils and butters, organic and fair trade are chosen whenever those options are available.
Packaging: Sourced from recyclable materials whenever possible, the packaging is minimal and functional, to keep the soaps dry during shipping, as well as keep the scents from blending.
This listing is for one soap bar. Each bar is 5 ounces or more.
