Almond Honey Goats Milk Soap with Colloidal Oats and Bentonite Clay

This is another classic bar of soapy goodness. Honey, goats milk and colloidal oats combine to form a bar of pure soap heaven.

Almond honey is a rich, nutty blend of sweet, golden honey and buttery almond with just a touch of fruit. 

Studies show goat's milk can keep your skin soft and moisturized with its high levels of vitamin A, which aids in keeping your skin healthy. Also its high levels of lactic acid can help your skin shed its dead cells, making your complexion brighter in the process, and it has a pH level that's friendly to human skin

For centuries, colloidal oatmeal has been a salve for itchy, dry, or irritated skin. Colloidal oatmeal is made by grinding oat grain into a fine powder. It’s considered an emollient — a substance that softens or soothes the skin.  But in addition to acting as an emollient, its anti-inflammatory properties soothe dry or irritated skin. This makes it a perfect solution for treating issues like insect bites, contact dermatitis, chickenpox, eczema, atopic dermatitis, and psoriasis. 

Bentonite Clay is an effective ingredient for removing skin impurities such as excess oils and clogged pores. It also has minerals like magnesium, iron, sodium, calcium and silica to help brighten the skin's outer layer. On top of that, if you’re facing poison ivy, poison oak, or diaper rash, bentonite clay can diminish the effects of an allergic reaction.

We know also that honey contains awesome skin loving benefits. After using body products with honey your skin feels extremely soft and supple. Also I substituted all the water for Aloe Vera. Aloe is extremely soothing to our skin. 

Look and feel: All soaps are made by hand in small batches with natural ingredients, and like any product made by hand, has color differences and small imperfections. Unlike commercially produced products, color stabilizers are not used in my soaps, resulting in bars that will darken as they age. This is normal for real soap, and won't affect its performance.

Extra time isn't spent finishing the edges, shaving off imperfections, etc. This allows me more time to make more soap, as well as a lower price point to my customer. Due to their naturally high moisture content, handcrafted soaps may be softer than the average commercial bar. To prolong the life of your soap I recommend storing it on an open tray with good air circulation and drainage

Inside: I only use what’s needed to produce a soap or skin care item. Ingredients without a distinct purpose and/or benefit are left out. Most items are scented with only essential oils. Because not all scents can be recreated with essential oils only, some products will contain a fragrance oil. All my fragrance oils are phthalate-free. Items will be identified with what scent or essential oil was added in the ingredient listing. For the oils and butters, organic and fair trade are chosen whenever those options are available.

Packaging: Sourced from recyclable materials whenever possible, the packaging is minimal and functional, to keep the soaps dry during shipping, as well as keep the scents from blending.
