Clean, uncluttered, fresh green apple scent. Nice and crisp without the sour note of a Granny Smith.

***Loofahs are for extreme exfoliation. If you have very sensitive skin I would not recommend except for feet.

Each soap has a full slice of natural loofah embedded within the soap. Once the gourds have matured, they are picked and allowed to dehydrate for over 6 months. The remaining insides of the gourd plant are cleaned and sold as loofah. Loofah is considered an all natural exfoliant.

This one is a favorite of mine to use before shaving my legs. Gets the dry skin off and lifts the hairs for a closer shave. I also use these in place of a body brush for skin brushing.

Your skin is your largest organ as well as being one of the most important elimination organs in the body.

The benefits of skin brushing include:

• Dry body brushing helps shed dead skin cells. It can also help with any pesky ingrown hairs.
• It assists in improving vascular blood circulation and lymphatic drainage.
• Dry skin brushing rejuvenates the nervous system by stimulating nerve endings in the skin (and it feels pretty great, too!).
• Dry skin brushing helps your skin to absorb nutrients by eliminating clogged pores.
• And, in my experience, dry body brushing first thing in the morning can actually set up a perfect day!( But you can also do it before bed.)

Brushing Technique:

Begin at the ankles and brush upward using light but firm strokes. You always want to brush toward the heart because that is the way the lymph flows naturally. After you finish your legs, brush your stomach, arms, and shoulders. Your skin may be a little pink afterward, but it shouldn't hurt – if it does, you need to lay off the pressure! Avoid sensitive areas such as open cuts, abrasions and any patches of eczema or psoriasis.

I love using these soaps with my shaving routine. The loofah exfoliates and soap creates a wicked creamy lather to shave with. Great exfoliator for those who utilize self tanning creams/lotions.

Look and feel: All soaps are made by hand in small batches with natural ingredients, and like any product made by hand, has color differences and small imperfections. Unlike commercially produced products, color stabilizers are not used in my soaps, resulting in bars that will darken as they age. This is normal for real soap, and won't affect its performance.

Extra time isn't spent finishing the edges, shaving off imperfections, etc. This allows me more time to make more soap, as well as a lower price point to my customer. Due to their naturally high moisture content, handcrafted soaps may be softer than the average commercial bar. To prolong the life of your soap I recommend storing it on an open tray with good air circulation and drainage

Inside: I only use what’s needed to produce a soap or skin care item. Ingredients without a distinct purpose and/or benefit are left out. Most items are scented with only essential oils. Because not all scents can be recreated with essential oils only, some products will contain a fragrance oil. All my fragrance oils are phthalate-free. Items will be identified with what scent or essential oil was added in the ingredient listing. For the oils and butters, organic and fair trade are chosen whenever those options are available.

Packaging: Sourced from recyclable materials whenever possible, the packaging is minimal and functional, to keep the soaps dry during shipping, as well as keep the scents from blending.
